Hola! I’m Luz Felida, and I work in the traditional Mexican art form of repujado. Welcome to my website. I hope you will find some examples of my work to inspire you and perhaps even want to order your own handmade custom piece. Repujado is a labor-intensive work and care must be taken at every step of the process. Pliable, soft metals are used in this artwork but I have to be detailed and delicate to achieve the outcome I’m going after. Metalwork, inks and glues all play a part. For repujado that’s affixed to irregular surfaces, I need to work carefully and quickly with a special adhesive (that I’ve only been able to find in Mexico).
